Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Last Days Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ who is our only hope in redemption and a life of purity. The vision of Last Days Church is to glorify the one and only God who created man in His image and created everything. To exemplify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by following Gods instruction given in his Living Word. To be lights in a very dim world. To abstain from “worldly” ways and passions as once we are saved we are no longer of this world. We are born again and thus all our thoughts, desires, everything that is now us, is refocused with a new purpose of pleasing our Father in Heaven. With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who now abides within us, we have a forever helper and are sealed throughout eternity. This ministry is to get people saved. To help make true disciples throughout all the nations and tongues throughout the world. To open minds and hearts. To edify believers, and to do all that is possible within our human temples of God to magnify the name of Jesus. Most importantly is to follow the Great Commission and let not a day, a hour, not any opportunity whatsoever stop ALL believers from spreading the Gospel of Jesus and adding to Gods family and saving the lost. We are in the Last Days and we all need to not be fishermen. But fishers of men. The field is ripe.

Do you have a physical location?

At this time, Last Days Church is a online Ministry. This is what God has provided for right now and thank you Lord Jesus for that. I believe I am called by God for a reason in these Last Days. There are many aspirations and desires that more than likely will happen in the future, but I leave that in Gods hands and yours. There are many misconceptions and traditions handed down that “define” what a church even is. And many are deceived by religions and blinded and are as sheep led to slaughter. Last Days Church is probably a little different. Please devote yourselves to prayer MANY times daily and also to this ministry if you sense Gods Spirit. If your heart says to walk away, by all means run, don’t walk. God is the leader. I’m just tagging along trying my best to release what’s inside of me. Not one man is 100% right or correct in what they say or do. Not me and not you. So if I am in error for anything forgive me and take the good and throw out the bad. I try to keep myself out of everything I’m doing and let God speak and work through me and I know He is. A place to worship would be awesome. In my heart of hearts I see not a “church”, but a community of born again Christians. A sanctuary where everyone pools their resources together just like in Acts and want a simple life in these Last Days. A place to grow our own gardens, raise livestock and live in harmony. A simple life. A place to recharge yourself or never leave. “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.” That is hard to comprehend in today’s world of greed and crime and everyone out for themselves. But it happened because of peoples faith and dedication to God and what is most important. If a con artist pastor can put a billion dollars into HIS pocket, why can’t we join together and put a billion dollars into thousands of acres of land and build a Christian community? I’m talking going back in time and living like early 1800’s. Limited electricity for certain things in main community house for wash machines or essentials, building your own cabin from trees milled off your property, raising chickens, growing your own food, fishing in our lakes and rivers. Hunting for game. Those with motorhomes would be acceptable as your housing. Those with a tent and a sleeping bag would be acceptable as long as they like anyone has means to provide for themselves. As Christians we would help each other. Opportunities would exist to work in exchange for living in community would exist for poor. We are meant to be strangers, aliens, and sojourners in the world (1 Peter 1:1). Whether you know it or not, we are a called out (Greek ekklesia) and separate community as we are no longer of this world or it’s thinking (2 Corinthians 6:17; Revelation 18:4). We are a distinctly set apart city on a hill (Matthew 5:14). This is what the church is really all about.

Who exactly is leading Last Days Church?

First and foremost that would be God. Jesus. The Holy spirit. Then there is me who will be pasturing and leading the way in what I believe God put me on this earth for. But the difference between this church and most, if not all, is that you are just as important and considered a leader like anyone born again. Though people may be called by God for different positions, we are all equal. Each and everyone of of us is the temple of God. Thus your church is branched into the main body of Christ and your importance is needed like any other born again Christian. Somehow “church” today is seat fillers and one man stealing the show. Let’s flip flop the cameras and have the audience be the spotlight too. Obviously a online church is different then getting in your car and driving to a building or a congregation of believers. Certainly first and foremost you should seek a actual physical place of worshiping with fellow Christians. That is very important for your growth in Christ. Maybe for now that’s not possible with you and for what ever reason you still want to worship God and are unable. Maybe your in jail or out in the country or disabled. Know I hope as your brother I fill the gap that is out there in the world now and no matter how or why, let’s praise Jesus that is so desperately needed today. Since true believers worship in Spirit, may we be joined together and do the best we can. That’s all God wants.

What Last Days Church believes:

THE BIBLE

The Holy Spirit guided human authors so that what they wrote in Scripture is accurate and without error. 2 Timothy 3:16. No other book written can pierce a mans heart and soul like the written Word of God. Through It we having the living Word being Jesus Christ and through Him is the life changing reality of changed minds and hearts. The Holy Spirit now is our helper and speaks to us and opens our eyes and creates a new heart in us. When we apply the Scriptures to life, we leave behind our old lives and worldly thinking and nothing ever will be the same. It can’t be. We are new creatures. Praise God. We are created again not into a sinful nature, but with new hearts and minds seeing Gods view of this life and not satans corrupted, vile, selfish, it’s all about us lives. The Bible is like no other book ever written. It is Gods Word. It gives life. It gives death. It is alive like a breathing human building. It’s flames can’t be put out. It is a double edged sword able to divide and conquer. Psalm 119. Proverbs 30:5. Isaiah 40:8. Isaiah 55:11. Jeremiah 20:9. Jeremiah 23:29. John 17:17. Romans 10:17. Ephesians 6:17. Hebrews 4:12. Deuteronomy 8:3. Matthew 4:4. John 14:26. 2 Peter 1:21.

Salvation

Anyone can be saved no matter what sins they have committed. Jesus paid the price and all you have to do is believe and accept His free gift of salvation. John 1:12. Ephesians 1:7. Ephesians 2:8-10. 1 Peter 1:18-19. John 3:3-7. Titus 3:5. John 5:24. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Ephesians 2:10. Ephesians 5:17-21. Philippians 2:12. Colossians 3:16. 2 Peter 1:4-10. 2 Corinthians 3:18. Once you are saved you are always saved. John 5:24. John 6:37-40. John 10:27-30. Romans 5:9-10. Romans 8:1. Romans 8:31-39. 1 Corinthians 1:4-8. Ephesians 4:30. Hebrews 7:25. Hebrews 13:5. 1 Peter 1:5. Jude 24.

GOD

We’ll God is GOD. He created everything. Everything. He made you in the womb and loves you.

Our new Life

Our view of God will impact the way we live. To some God is not real and a joke and want nothing to do with Him. Some love their sin more than caring about eternity. To others God is definitely real and we need Him desperately and love Him…Our lives are in Gods hands and each new day is a gift from God. God is defined as Spirit, a person, life, always was, is and forever shall be, unchanging, and unlimited by time and space. In reality the human brain isn’t capable of comprehending Gods vastness. We are told in Gods Word that He is a conjoining of three separate beings but one in the same. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.….. God consistently works out His eternal plan by guiding and overseeing all things by His wise and holy purpose.  It may not seem it at times but EVERYTHING is  under His control and in His hands. We as His creations are His delight. We are created in His image but we were stained by sin by Adam and Eve. That same sin nature flows through our veins and the only way to be with a perfect, holy God is by what Jesus did on the cross. Jesus let’s us cross over the bridge back to life. Those that follow Him are called His sons and daughters. satan and his followers are the opposite. There is a purpose for each and everyone of our lives. Who will you serve today?

Jesus

Jesus was, is, and forever shall be. God incarnate in human form. He spoke to Adam and Eve. He spoke to Moses. He wrestled with Jacob. He is the second person in the Trinity who came to live among us, die for us, and was resurrected that when we die we are be able to live with Him forever. He is God in flesh form, the image of God. The second Adam man miraculously created but the difference would be He would die sinless and perfect and become a  perfect sacrifice. He would be raised from the dead in a glorified new body that every believer in Him will also receive.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is what makes a Christian a Christian! Without it you have the spirit of this world and satan. With it we have the Creator of everything inside us. The Holy Spirit is not merely a invisible force. The Holy Spirit has all the attributes of personality and feelings and Godly power. He is  God as the third person of the Trinity and given to us the instant we are saved to indwell us. It is the Holy Spirit’s work that brings us to Christ and salvation. We don’t just wake up one day and on our own decide I’ll think I’ll get saved today. The Father has to draw you to Him and the Holy Spirit begins speaking to you. For you to be reading any of this is a example that the Holy Spirit is working on you. Others could care less and are busy watching porn or plotting how to make their next buck and screw people. The Spirit equips us for what God has called us to do, empowers us for living a faithful life to God and not the world, and produces spiritual fruit in our life. He makes us strong where we are weak. He gives us wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the LordThe Holy Spirit always was and forever will be. He was involved in creation Genesis 1:1-2. The minute you are saved you receive Him. 1 Corinthians 12:13. Ephesians 1:13-14. He is our helper John 14:15-17. John 14:26.  Romans 8:26. He teaches us Isaiah 11:2. We are given gifts 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. When we are unsure of things He will guide us Romans 8:14, Galatians 5:18. You will know your saved because He is inside you 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 6:19. He is powerful and not to be taken lightly Acts 5:3-5, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. Jesus Christ called the Holy Spirit the “Spirit of Truth” John 14:17, John 15:26, John 16:13 and warned us, “All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men Matthew 12:31. He convicts the world of sin John 16:7-11. The Holy Spirit can be grieved Ephesians 4:30, Isaiah 63:10. He opens our eyes 1 Corinthians 2:7-13. He loves us Romans 5:5, Romans 15:30. He is equal to God Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14. He changes us Galatians 5:22-23. He is everywhere Psalm 139:7-10. Without the Holy Spirit you are of this world still Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 2:14. He gives us strength and joy Acts 1:8, Romans 15:13, I can go on and on of the Holy Spirits importance. All I know is I wouldn’t be sitting here now if the Holy Spirit wasn’t guiding me and with me. What a treasure we have that no billionaire could ever buy. A free gift with endless possibilities. Acts 10:38, 1 Corinthians 12:3, Ezekiel 37:1, Numbers 27:18, Judges 3:10,  1 Samuel 10:9-10, Psalm 143:9-10, Isaiah 61:1, Acts 4:30, Acts 10:19, Acts 11:15, Acts 13:2, Hebrews 9:8-9, Luke 4:1, Judges 6:33-34, Zechariah 4:6, Micah 3:8,  Ezekiel 11:24, 1 Chronicles 28:10-12, 2 Chronicles 24:20. YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT

PEOPLE

People are unique beings. We are not like animals nor anything else God created. Unique in having a brain that is capable of anything. We are creations of God and not of false satanic theories or made up garbage. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. How can anyone not look at the human body and all it’s functions and not say a creator designed and made it? As Gods creation we have both a physical body and a soul and spirit. Our bodies will never change other than getting older and eventually dying. Our soul lives forever. The choice we make in this life gives us one of two destinations. We are born with freewill and within ourselves make a choice. For believers in Christ, eternity in paradise with God. For unbelievers in Christ, eternity in Hell with satan suffering.

Free gift

The single most significant experience in life or greatest thing we can ever accomplish is in receiving the salvation provided by Christ on the Cross. This experience involves conversion, regeneration, justification, and sanctification and grants us eternal life with Christ. It is offered to everyone and you don’t have to earn your way to it or go through rituals or do anything except believe with all your heart, mind, and soul Jesus blood covers your sins.

Worship

Jesus instituted the church as a means of Christians assembling together to encourage and help one another in the Christian life. Alone we are in a battle that can’t be won. Joined together we become strong as a army. We are all branches joined in the tree of Gods service. No matter how little or small, we all have our place and need to do our part. Through joining together we can worship, learn instruction, fellowship, and evangelize the world. Worship should never be defined as one day a week and for a couple hours, but instead in many ways and many times throughout the week.

Doctrine

Instead of putting aside differences and becoming one, the church is broken apart and has become weak. Of course there cannot be agreement on blatant false herisies and religions that are way off base in their teachings. I’m talking of born again believers that battle each other in person or online like pharisees and instead of coming out of love, they come out of judgement and accusation and ways that divide. May we all agree on at least one thing? That Jesus saved us. We can still be joined together and set aside our differences. The foremost thing we should be worried about in getting people saved falls to the wayside over stupid shit.

 Heaven and Hell

This life is temporary. We are here like a vapor and vanish. When we die there are two destinations. One is being with God forever and in paradise. The second should scare you out of your shoes and make you tremble. The road to destruction is vast. “Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.”  MANY MANY people will make the wrong choice or worse yet no choice. If your choice is to not believe in Jesus, there is a absolute, real place of torment forever, HELL. Once you die the opportunity to be saved is gone forever and there is no turning back.

Praise God He has given us His very Words. Men who were inspired by the Holy Ghost penned down the words. Many times they wrote things that would happen hundreds of years later. A coming Messiah and Savior would be born. Jesus is the Word brought to life.  “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” The Bible is alive. There is no other book on earth like it. Through it you can receive salvation, a new heart, soul, mind, and body or if you choose not to believe or accept it is Gods Word, eternal damnation in HELL forever.

Many men have walked this earth. Some very famous. Some very wealthy. Some very smart.  When someone dies it isn’t long before their memory fades from the minds of those still alive. Not so with Jesus. He only increased over and over in time. Jesus Christ is without question the most significant person in history and ever born. Through His life and death millions and millions have put their faith in Him as being the son of God. Because He is. The Bible says many things about Jesus. The Old Testament was the forerunner of a perfect forever sacrifice whose blood would cover the sins of those that believed. Jesus was born of a virgin woman and is the second Adam. He would die sinless. He performed many supernatural acts like healing people of diseases, raising the dead and turning water into wine. His biggest miracle would be that He was crucified on a cross and three days later rose from the dead.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God. The very Word of God in human form.

“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth”

Jesus is equal with God. Just like God the father, He always was, is, and forever shall be. He was there in the creation of everything in six days. He is coming back to judge this sinful world very soon.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God” …  “I and the Father are one”

Jesus is the only way to God. Religion, works, anything you can possibly conjure up in your mind as a way to being with a perfect Holy God is impossible. There is only one doorway.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved”

“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ”

Jesus was the fulfillment of offering salvation to all who will call on His name. There is no other name written whereby we can be saved. Whereas we are sinners, Jesus lived a perfect sinless life so that He could offer Himself on the cross as your replacement. He is the only sacrifice acceptable in Gods eyes for our sin.

“He made Him  who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”

“The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Jesus is the very definition of love. Laying down your life to save the life of another. He died to show Gods love for mankind. Jesus demonstrated His love for sinners by all His suffering. God’s just punishment for sin would be placed on Jesus and not on you.

“For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him”

“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins”

“And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness”

Jesus is life. He would rise from the grave and conquer death. After he rose, He appeared to hundreds of people as proof. His followers would receive the Holy Spirit as a replacement of Him. We are sealed forever and will one day rule with Him and be in paradise.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

Jesus is a relationship. He is not a religion. Just like His relationship to the Father, we are joined into the family of God. We pray to father God through the son. We are given a helper as though it was Jesus Himself speaking or being present with us. This is the Holy Spirit. When we place our trust, faith, and hope in the person and work of Jesus Christ we are saved for what He did on the cross. Jesus’ sinless life and sacrificial death gives us ability to be reconciled to our heavenly father and start a new forever relationship.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

How am I saved saved? How am I born-again? You don’t wake up one day and say to yourself I feel like getting saved today. There is a time when God has moved on your heart or as the Bible says has drawn you to Him. That is possible only through the Holy Spirit. For you to be reading this is a very good indication that God has been touching your heart. Praise God. There really isn’t a order of things or steps you must make, but there are things that should be acknowledged in your heart. You’ll probably run across the “sinners prayer.” Although it is correct in it’s basic use, the reality this is not something that is inscribed in the Bible per say. In other words, the simplicity is one is saved by faith in Jesus and what He did on the cross, but there is a definite understanding what should have happened to you to get to that point. Many a person will say they believe in God or Jesus but it is only lip service. This is a matter of life and death and where you will spend eternity and I’m going to be the one responsible if I misled you or you didn’t understand. The first thing is your realization of your condition before God. It shouldn’t be hard to figure out your in a horrible position with God with the sins you have committed and are still committing. When you get a speeding ticket, you go before a judge. You pay the ticket and are cleared. But with God, things get a whole lot worse because we are born in sin through Adam and Eve, and have committed MANY sins. When we die we are going to appear before the judge of judges, God. You may have been able to pay the speeding ticket, but your offences against God need to be settled too before you die. There is no payment YOU can make. It’s not on your terms or conditions, but Gods. Realization of your state cause men to do one of two things. Accept or rebel against God. That is what freewill is. Someone that accepts and understands and realizes their position before God should be trembling in fear and falling to their knees knowing their need of a Savior. He is the only one that can make the payment for your sin. Someone that chooses to rebel or just walk away from knowing their position before God will have to pay the awful penalty themselves to which there is no way out from judgement which will lead to eternal separation from God and HELL.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God””

“If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us”

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Okay so now you know your standing before a perfect Holy God that can not have sin in His presence. You now need to repent ask forgiveness of your sin. What that is only you can know. If your unsure ask God to convict your heart. He will do a whole lot of that in His Word, but you have a conscience and we all have a inner voice that tells us when we are doing something wrong. You are telling God I really messed up and went out on my own and God now I want a new heart that turns my life in a new direction away from my sins. Your saying God I want to follow you now and commit my life to change. I will rely on you Lord for strength and thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

“Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel”

“God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man [Jesus Christ] whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead”

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where “

God has offered a free gift. His son as a replacement for our sin. Jesus said “I am the way, the life, and the truth” and there is no other way to the Father except through Him. You need to acknowledge and accept that free gift and receive God’s merciful and gracious offer to save you. Praise God He opened your eyes and your heart! Place all your heart ,mind, and soul into what Jesus did on the cross for you. This is faith. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice and is the only sacrifice acceptable to God. The only payment God will accept for your sin and the only way to be reconciled to Him. Accept His free gift.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God”

“The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “whoever believes on Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved”

We are saved by grace and grace alone that God has given to us. We in no way, shape, or form can save ourselves. There are no good works, or what you think is good works, that could ever save you or put you in Gods saving grace. Good works are done on the exterior of the body by actions and deeds, whereas in contrast the inner qualities such as grace or faith are given by God as the means to our salvation and all that is needed. The Bible says the best thing you can do is like a filthy woman’s pad in his eyes. Accept the wonderful reality that God gave us something we could never earn or achieve on our own.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

“Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness”

After you have believed we now have a different master. Whereas satan once controlled us we now have Jesus as our guide. We have Gods Word as a instruction manual and the Holy Spirit indwelling in us to give us guidance. After salvation there is a conversion of the heart and definite changes in our life. We are born-again as new creatures. Not of the world system and it’s thinking, but of learning and becoming the mind of Christ. The Bible says there are fruits and evidences of someone who is saved. If you are exactly the same before and after your saved, your probably not saved. Personally I don’t see it possible to not know if your saved or not. You will feel the weight of the world lifted off your shoulders and want to get on your roof and shout “I’m saved” It is a impossible thing for one man to know another mans heart as to whether they are saved. Only God knows.

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation [one who satisfies God’s justice] for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked”

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness”

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved”

I hope this was enough to guide you in getting saved. Throughout this website you’ll find more info if you need. It really isn’t more complicated than the last verse. But in it’s over simplification of people not understanding what that really means, I want you to be 100% sure of your salvation. Forever is a long time. It starts with you believing that the Bible is the actual inspired Word of God. A book of 100% truth, and it is.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”

God created everything in creation. Everything. He not only created everything, but He is in full control at all times of the earth and the universe. He created man for His pleasure. He wants to be in a relationship with you but that is impossible in your current condition if you are not saved. God never changes. His view on sin caused the great flood. His view is the same now on morality and sin. God has 100% authority over all His creation and no matter what laws or thoughts a man can come up with to oppose or disagree with God, in the end He will be the final judge. Mans morality is degrading by the day now and Jesus is coming back soon. Man was created perfect and in His image of being sinless. But after his fall sin in all forms would take over a mans heart. Murder, cheating, lying, stealing, lusting, coveting, gossiping, slandering, sexual perversion, envying, and a million other sins have exploded in these Last Days. Men think nothing of taking the Lords name in vain. Doing what ever it takes to get ahead. Loving money or somebody more than God. God is very specific in His judgement and you don’t want to be on the wrong side of God. God has a record of every minute of everyday of your life. All those things you thought you hid so good will be revealed. You will stand before God and be judged and there is only one way to not be pronounced a sentence of forever in HELL. That is by Jesus taking your place. God has two sides. He is loving, forgiving, merciful, and gracious but the Bible also presents God as being full of wrath against those who break His laws and reject His offer of reconciliation. God is God. You can have any opinion you want on HELL and I’d hate to be you if your a better because your wrong, The Bible states clearly that God, the just Judge of the universe, has the authority, the power, and the intention of sending all those who reject His Son Jesus Christ to HELL. The concept of God sending those who reject His Son to a literal hell may seem unfair, unlikely, or even crazy to you. Yet the Bible plainly and consistently speaks of its reality. The Bible has never failed in being found to be truth. All the historical events, places, people, prophecies are factual.  Hell is factual. It’s a reality just like you will die one day. The Bible says today is the day of salvation. One doesn’t know what could happen tomorrow or five minutes from now. Your eternal life is in your hands alone. To put God off is like camping on the top of a volcano with a box of dynamite as your pillow.

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him””

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him [God] who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire”

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

“God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man  whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead”

Being separated from God and punished in HELL for eternity should rock you to the core. It quickly divides the foolish from the wise. The wheat from the chaff. The lambs from the wolves. “What can I do to be saved from God sending me there? The answer is obvious. Jesus.

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

” …Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

What It Means To Be a Christian

To put it simply, a Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ and is a follower of His and His Apostles teachings. The Bible says we are no longer us but a new creation after we are saved, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Does that mean we look in the mirror and see someone different? No. But actually many will see changes as they are free from addictions and sin. A look of happiness replaces a look of sorrow. The true change is what has happened inside. God has given us a new heart and a saved soul and we are filled with the Holy Ghost. In becoming a Christian, a person has changed the direction of their life and repented for their sin to God. We no longer follow our own selfish desires and ambitions and strive toward Gods way of thinking, Isaiah 55:8-9. With all our heart we have said I am sorry Lord for all the wrongs I have done in my life. I want to be a new person and head in a new direction. I want to follow you God and I put my trust in Jesus as my Savior and strength. Christianity teaches that this repentance and new faith restores a person’s relationship with God. God has forgiven us and has given us a new start and a new life in Him. Through the blood we are washed totally and completely. We are given a forever relationship and will be with God throughout eternity. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he lived as a man on Earth about 2,000 years ago. Jesus is both man and God and He is part of the trinity. That trinity is God the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit. As Christians we believe accounts given of Jesus’ life as written in the four Gospels. The prophesies of His coming in the old testament, and in reality the whole Bible speaks of His existence. He always was and is and forever shall be. We believe in all Jesus’ miracles; raising the dead, healing the sick, walking on water, etc. Although Jesus came to claim His people, they rejected Him. In doing so Jesus was sentenced to death on false charges and hung on a cross to die a gruesome death. He rose from the dead three days later and from that day forward earths people would never be the same. Jesus had died so any man could live. He reappeared to the apostles and fellow believers in the hundreds before His ascension into Heaven. Christians believe Jesus will return one day and the world will be judged of it’s sin. For those who are His believers and put their trust and faith in Him, we will spend eternity with Him. For those who didn’t believe they will be judged and sent to Hell forever. Being a Christian is more than identifying yourself with a particular religion or saying a few words or going through some kind of rituals. It is not uncommon for someone to say “yep, I believe in Jesus or God” and they are just words like someone saying I believe in Santa. Unfortunately, many people walk around thinking they are Christians and is far from being true. They are head saved and not heart saved. They maybe believe in a way that falls way short getting saved because the heart was never involved in true conversion. Being a Christian means you have embraced what the Bible says about God and Jesus, the fall of mankind in sin, and salvation. The Holy Spirit has pricked at your heart and shown you your condition before God. As a Christian we are unleashed from worldly thinking. God opens our eyes. From the time we are born we are taught satans lies. A Christian knows and believes God is the sovereign Creator. The one and only God. He created man in His image. satan would want you to believe man is a result of evolution which is complete bullshit. Yet many will listen to men and their false science and zero proof  and crazy theories. Science never says anything with 100 percent certainty because it can’t. The Bible is 100% factual. We were created from the dust of the ground to have a personal relationship with God to whom we love, serve, and can have fellowship with. Though that relationship was broken by Adam and Eve in the garden, Jesus would restore us back to sinless. Jesus, just like the Father and Holy Ghost have always been. He owns and rules over everything and as Christians that are saved by what He did on the cross by shedding His blood, we offer our obedience allegiance to Him. We worship Him as Lord and Savior and our Creator. John 1:3, Colossians  1:16, Psalm 103:19. To be accepted by God we need to be in His eyes the same in His holiness. Isaiah 6:3, James 1:13, 1 Peter 1:16. It is only by what Jesus did by becoming our replacement of sin that we can seen by God, not as sin filled, but perfect just like His son. Thank you Lord for that beautiful gift and offering. As Christians we came to the point of knowing our condition through the Holy Spirit speaking to us. We are all sinners and worthy of Hell. Everyone is guilty. On our own we could never please God or do any kind of works or actions that would change how God looks at us. God needs perfection and only Jesus fits the bill. 1 Kings 8:46, Romans 3:10-12. Thinking we can simply change our patterns of behaviors can’t solve our sin problem or eliminate its consequences because it will always fall short. No matter how good you may think you are, it is not enough and a penalty will have to be paid after death, Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 6:23.  We as Christians believe Jesus paid the penalty for us. We are given reassurances throughout the New Testament that we can be saved from Gods wrath. Romans 10:9, John 3:16, 1 Peter 3:18. We are forgiven forever and sealed with the Holy Spirit. We believe and have faith. 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 3:26. We have repented for our sin on the day of our salvation and continue doing so our entire lives when we mess up. It is not possible to come to the father unless you know what your coming from. Clearly the Holy Spirit convicted you of your condition as God drew you to Him. A Christian confesses their sin to God and makes a conscious decision that they will amend their lives and leave that sin behind Luke 13:3-5, 1 Thessalonians 1:9, Matthew 11:28-30, John 17:3, 1 John 2:3. There are characteristics of saving faith. Of a true believer. True faith is always accompanied by repentance from sin. It isn’t enough to believe in a religion or certain facts about Christ. Even Satan and his demons believe in the true God, James 2:19,  but they don’t love and obey Him. People can get all wrapped up in emotions and feelings which come and go like the wind. One day they say they believe in God, the next day that is forgotten. True saving faith always responds in obedience Ephesians 2:2-3. A Christian knows they are a Christian. They don’t THINK they are a Christian. If you are unsure you need to examine yourself, 2 Corinthians 13:5 and can be sure, 1 John 5:13. In fact the epistle of first John is very helpful. Read these verses and see how they relate to you. 1 John 1:3, 1 John 1:6-7, 1 John 1:8, 1 John 2:3-5, 1 John 2:15, 1 John 2:29, 1 John 3:3, 1 John 3:5-6, 1 John 3:14, 1 John 3:18-19, 1 John 3:21, 1 John 5:4. Are you walking the walk or just talking the talk? Only you can answer that. As Christians there will be fruit that shows we are, Matthew 7:20. If there is nothing that shows you are now different than the consequences are not good, Galatians 5:22-23, John 15:6. Genuine salvation is a changed life. Truly we are saved by grace and not works but what is shown in YOUR life?  Ephesians 2:8-9, James 2:17-18. Never should be forgotten we are in a war after we are saved. Not of our souls anymore as we are sealed forever, but the war is for our minds and hearts and faith. satan is real and his followers are real. Though satan knows we are free in Christ, he wants to put us in bondage anyway he can. Maybe it was previous sin. Maybe he is enticing you with sex or money now. He is a formidable enemy only if we allow him to be. he loves to bring up our past and misdeeds and make us think we are failures. When we knowingly sin he will pound us with God has given up on us. That is why Gods Word is so important to know like the front of your hand. It needs to be your shadow. Jesus fought satan with scripture and we need to, John 17:11, John 17:15. Praise God that Jesus has us in His mighty hands. As Christians we hear and obey from God and love Him. John 10:27-29.

Can I lose My Salvation?

Today the word “Christian” is pretty much a word thrown around with no thought of what that even means. The truth is that most, if not all people that use that name have never been saved. So you can’t lose what you have never been to start with. Many claiming to be Christians don’t even know what being saved or born again even means. People will get involved in religions and cults and are fooled and deceived because of outward acts and there has never been  a inward act of conversation of the heart. The Bible is learned not by themselves but “taught” to them by “churches” that most times teach their own “religious” garbage. Usually works based and going through steps or processes nowhere to be seen in Gods Word. Things are done outwardly like being baptized as a baby, praying to idols or beads or dead “saints”, telling their sins not to God but to priests, taking a action like saying man made prayers or doing some kind of alter call. Some are raised in a Christian family and think they automatically are Christians too. One must first make sure you are saved. That you truly are a “christian.” A christian fully trusts in Jesus Christ as the only Savior and is filled with the Holy Spirit. Seems like the big thing now is trials. Lets say you are arrested tomorrow because you might be a Christian. Like any trial all the facts would come out. What would prove you are a Christian other than saying you are? Witnesses from convenient store, your work, your family, anyone you ever came in contact with would come forward. What would they say about you? A remote camera picked up much of your actions during the day and night. What would films show? Would the prosecutors suddenly drop the case? Or would witness after witness come forward and tell of your filthy jokes and you always smelled like pot. You once in awhile told them they needed God before you bet in the next college scores. You said hey man don’t judge no one but made fun of the new guy almost nonstop for being a little slow and in need of help all the time. How will your trial end right now? If your best friends, those at work, school, gym, favorite restaurant, stores you frequent, or even those in your family don’t know that you are a Christian, you probably aren’t. Who you are in the unseen, unrehearsed moments of life is who you are. Period. The rest is just a act to say your something you are not. Are you really saved? Then you can worry about something you might not have ever had. 🙂

The devil loves to mess with our heads and sometimes we can start doubting our salvation especially when we sin again. That’s why we need to be aggressively in Gods Word. It’s teachings and beliefs are the opposite of how satan or the world thinks and acts. Gods Word gives us reassurance and deliverance. Once you are grounded in knowing you are saved, for many, even me at one time, the question may arise can I lose my salvation now that I’m saved? This usually happens as your old sinful nature comes knocking at the door and you can’t believe you sinned again. Then come doubts and fears and confusion and then before you know it, you lose all joy and peace you once had in Christ. Then all it takes is looking up on the internet the wrong place or going to a wrong church that says you can lose your salvation, and now your really screwed. Your worse off now then before you got saved and go into depression and guilt mode, which by the way is a good thing. A unsaved person could care less. So let’s look at a few verses of Gods Word.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

I suggest you write those verses down and memorize them. Let God answer any doubt and not the world or our own feelings. Eternal security is a very important question and it is one that any man shouldn’t answer, but instead what God says in His Word. Lets see what God says a Christian is and what losing salvation would entail. The Bible says we are a new creation. We are born again. God has created a new heart in us. A Christian is not simply a new and improved version of a person by actions and feelings or by saying a few words or because we joined a religion. Our souls have been given change from out of darkness into light by God Himself who has drawn us to Him. The Holy Spirit now indwells in us and we are in Christ and Christ is in us. For a Christian to lose their salvation, the new creation would have to be destroyed. There is no where in Bible that talks of such a thing because it would go against the entire gospel and why Jesus died for us. Would God change us into something of Him to only take that away? That would be Jesus destroying Himself. It would show weakness and deception and take God from being Holy and perfect into being a liar. Lies and deception are traits of satan, not God. God knows we have a sinful nature in us that we will have to we take our last breath. That’s what grace is all about. It’s accepting and loving us exactly as we are. satan the accuser wants to put in our heads we have to be perfect like Jesus and that’s just not possible. So don’t ever let him get a seed of doubting your salvation because it will grow like a tree if you don’t instantly go into Gods Word and find the truth. Remember you have a lifetime enemy. A pissed enemy he lost you and wants to harm you anyway he can.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;”

As Christians we are redeemed. Bought and paid for with the blood of Christ. The word redeemed refers to a purchase being made and a price being paid. Nowadays there are rewards cards. Or you’ll find coupons and offers in the mail or in the newspaper, etc. Something is paid for and because of that you are rewarded with some kind of deal. We were purchased with the cost of Christ’s death. In Jesus dying on the cross He changed everything from man being hopelessly lost to paying the entire bill and redeeming us back to the perfection God originally created man in. He stands like a wall in front of us where God sees not us as sinners but just as perfect as His son. Are you comprehending that! His dying gave us the reward of life everlasting. He stood in our place and paid it all on the cross. For a Christian to lose salvation, God Himself would have to revoke His purchase of the individual for whom He paid with the precious blood of Christ. He would have to change history and pull Jesus off the cross. He would have to rewrite history and take all the millions of Christians who died in their faith and were redeemed and then say His Word really was a lie. Sorry, the Lord Jesus guaranteed it John 5:24, John 6:35, John 11:26. At the very moment of faith, the believer has everlasting life, is guaranteed he will not come into judgment regarding everlasting life, and he has passed from death into life John 5:24. There are those that throw out “perseverance” as a condition you can lose your salvation. That would be those false flower Calvinists and Arminians that simply can’t perceive once saved always saved because they got pharisee blood running through their veins. I’m not sure who is worse. satanists or them and the damage they do.

“forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

As Christians we are justified. How awesome! To justify is to declare righteous. The Bible says we will judge angels. That we will reign with Jesus. I’m not a prideful person, but wow, where I’m a loser in this world in the next I’m pretty darn powerful through my Lord. On this earth you may have killed someone or engaged in homosexuality, but in the next you are looked at as perfect. All the garbage you did before you were saved and after your saved is gone. All those who receive Jesus as Savior are declared righteous by God. What a magnanimous gesture from God. For a Christian to lose salvation, God would have to go back on His Word and declare He is no different than satan. He would have to say His Word is full of lies. Where He never changes, all of a sudden He can change and what has been previously written and declared as truth is now void. The Bible is a giant hoax. His Word is no different than reading a comic book. Those who were justified and absolved of guilt would have to be tried again and found guilty. Everyone would go to Hell. God the perfect and righteous judge would be like a bought for, no scruples, worldly piece of crap supreme court judge and reverse the sentence handed down from the divine bench from Christians being justified in Christ to that it was all a big scam. Anyone that believed was just a sucker at a carnival trying to win the big stuffed animal. God loves abortion. God loves homosexuality. God actually loves sin. I don’t think so.

“And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus”

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”

“Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification”

“Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God”

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”

As a Christian we are promised eternal life. There is no room for debate. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Eternal life is the promise of spending forever in heaven with God. God promises that if we believe, you and I will have eternal life. For a Christian to lose salvation, the word eternal would have to be removed and replaced with “a little extra life.” and shall not perish needs to say “shall perish” Oh how satan would love to rewrite Gods Word! The Christian is promised to live forever and eternally with God. Maybe God really isn’t eternal? Maybe He died or flew the coop and left because He has better things to do than deal with the flat earth anymore. “Screw my creation” he yelled as He got into His spaceship with his alien family.

A Christian is marked by God and sealed by the Spirit. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”  Wow. There are no guarantees in this life with anything. You can be healthy one day and the next day be told you have six months to live. Have more money and things imagined and a tornado comes through town and lose everything. There is only one sure thing we can put our trust in and it’s totally free and forever. The very moment of being saved through faith in our Savior, the new Christian is marked and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Once we have the Spirit that is something forever. How much we are filled with the Spirit is determined by you. Be a jackass and sin like there’s no tomorrow the Spirit leaves you. Embrace the Spirit and live Christlike and your cup is full. The Holy Spirit can never leave a saved Christian and is promised by Jesus to those that believe and is your forever guarantee and seal throughout eternity. The end result is that God’s glory is praised as we exemplify our new lives. For a Christian to lose their salvation, God would have to erase His mark upon us and then take back the gift of the Holy Spirit. Cancel what Jesus did on the cross and take away His entire existence. God would have to  break all His promises and say He was fibbing and revoke the guarantee of eternal life. He then would need to drop Himself to satans level and lose all His glory and instead of being praised, be in same boat as satan and be disliked and just another liar.

A Christian is guaranteed glorification. “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”  When we come to faith in Jesus as our Savior, we are now justified in Gods eyes. We will no longer be judged Romans 5:1. Wow, all these great things have happened just by accepting Gods free gift. How unshackled we have truly become after Salvation. Glorification comes with justification Romans 8:30. Three good words to hide in your heart if you ever question your losing salvation. All those whom God justifies are promised to be glorified. These are promises from God and the final result is when Christians receive their perfect new resurrection bodies in heaven. If a Christian can lose salvation, then the book of Romans is just a book of false statements and lies. Instead of being guarantees that a saved man is all those wonderful things by Gods doing, then I guess God is pretty weak and really unable to anything. Why bother to return to earth if there is nobody to return to? And forget just Romans. That means Abraham, Moses, King David, Noah, and on and on in the old testament are all just a pile of ashes never to be raised by God with no hope.

The reality is a Christian cannot lose their salvation. Can they go off the deep end and screw up their lives? Yes. Can they return to sins they were cleansed of  when they got saved? Yes. Can the trials of life beat a Christian down and take them out of the fight? Yes. Can one Christian grow and mature faster than another? Yes. Are there repercussions for backsliding? Yes. If Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you, does never really mean might not? The Bible can’t have two different sides on the same subject. All it can have is people who try to make some verses into what they want. The truth is what the Bible says it says and what it means it means. It’s Gods Word. Satan would love to pull out his black marker pen and redact Gods living Word especially in verses I’m showing you. Whole chapters and books of what the Bible says happens to us when we receive Christ would have to be marked out if salvation could be lost. Apostles and disciples of Christ would have to be renamed to “clowns.” Prophets would have to be called “looneybirds.” Christians would have to be renamed to “suckers.” Actually, those unsaved probably think that already anyhow. Oh, how they will howl in misery one day in their pride and arrogance. Call Christians anything you want, but one thing for sure is we are not of this world anymore. We are given something that satan and his angels didn’t receive and that is forgiveness. That puts in him hate that can’t be imagined. If He is going to hell, he damn well wants you to go there to. But praise be to God for Jesus and for the free gift we are given of Salvation. We are in no way worthy but that’s how much God loves us. What God says cannot be changed or revoked or blotted out, Romans 11:29. satan is the liar, not God, Titus 1:2. Once God does something it cannot be undone. You can’t be born again and after that be anything less than that. The only thing that can change that is works based thinking and now you have to be or do something to stay saved. We are saved 100% by grace. We are a new creation in Christ and for some they will do great things in His name. Others will be satisfied with a meager spiritual existence. Some believers stay in infant mode and if  YOU ask the question can I lose my salvation that’s probably because you need to refocus and change all your priorities in life. And my guess is your very backslidden and need to repent and need to get back into the race Paul talks of. You are purchased with a very big price of what Jesus went through and did for you. It wasn’t so you could be saved one day and oops, one day God takes that away because you messed up. It should be known though that if you lose your faith that’s a whole different situation. If you lose your faith, reality is you never had it. Faith means no matter what happens or what you go through you never lose your belief of what God has done for you no matter how close or far away God seems. Or how far away you have fallen. Faith means you have firm persuasion and assurance of your beliefs. There is a firm conviction of your beliefs that can’t be changed. You have faithfulness in what God says and asks of you. Faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the lord is working in our lives even though we cannot see it. Faith knows that no matter what the situation, whether in our lives or someone else’s in our live’s that the Lord is right there with us. through the goods and the bads. Through blessings and unanswered prayers. Through lifting us up and getting spankings when needed. The final reality is you either have the Holy Spirit inside you or you don’t. If you don’t know or unsure of that, that’s a problem, Romans 8:9. Is this you? Ephesians 5:18–20. You came from this, Ephesians 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 2:14, Romans 8:7-8. To this, John 3:8, Acts 16:14, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Luke 18:27, If there has never been any conversion heart, their can’t be any conversion of your life. What has happened since you were saved? Many will call themselves Christians and are not saved and born again. Something will show that outwardly and inwardly. Is this you? Romans 7:4, Mathew 7:16, 1 John 2:19, 1 John 3:6. Some people are “religious” and put on a good show even deceiving themselves, Galatians 6:7, Mark 4:19, James 1:22-24, Jeremiah 17:9, 1 John 2:19, 1 John 3:6.  You should be very knowledgeable in Gods Word and I’m sure your saying yeah, yeah, I know all this. That’s good. A unsaved man probably wouldn’t. I pray you find your standing before God and once you do, never, never in your life go backwards but forward in your walk with God. Thinking you can lose or lost your salvation is a slippery slope that can cause havoc in your life when it should never come to mind. Romans 8:38-39, John 10:28-30, Luke 15:5-6, Jude 1:24-25. I can go on and on but that’s what your supposed to do. You are a Christian , right?

Do I have to go to church?

You don’t have to do anything in this life accept die. You can choose to stop eating and drinking water anytime you want and you’ll slowly wither away. You can choose to not exercise and stay in shape and shorten your life. You can choose to not pay your taxes and lose your house or go to jail. You can choose to play the odds in your sexual sins and hope you don’t catch a disease or get pregnant. You can choose to do anything you want in life including going to church. But will that help you or hinder you? Everything has consequences…… First off we have to define what “church” even means. Some will put “church” and religion into the same grouping and then visualized is a big building or massive cathedrals usually adorned with stained glass, statues and gold. The more flashy the better it must be. Inside it’s like a Broadway show with a stage and props and of course actors usually dressed in costumes and in character mode of being something very special. During the show you pay your admission fee and think to yourself how holy you are for getting out of bed on your day off. Sorry, accurate for many but that’s not church. Throughout this website I have defined not what I think, but what the Bible clearly says. We as saved individuals are the church. We are the joined universal church and body of Christ of all the believers of Jesus Christ in the world. While the universal church might not share a physical building together, we are unified in faith through God and the Holy Spirit. We are under the banner of  the Son of the living God, Lord Jesus, and as such we are a giant family of brothers and sisters in the same faith. We as a body of believers trust in the Word of God and live our lives according to the Bible. We are no longer of this world or want to be part of it. The church is within the midst of God’s people. Each Christian individually and as a whole make up the temple of God. Jesus Himself is the foundation by which we all build upon. There is no other way or name under heaven wherein we can be saved and it is through the pouring out of His blood on the cross we are forever saved. If you are a believer in Jesus, you have been called to be a part of the flock of God. Fellow lambs of the Perfect Lamb Of God “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” The universal church is composed of true believers. Local church is a local assembly of the people who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Local “churches” are a place to congregate for people of God who are committed to regular meetings, praise and worship, breaking bread, Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. For many, many years that was done not in buildings, but in homes. Just like pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter and many other abominations were brought into to deceive, big pretty buildings would be right there to. That’s where the whole distortion of where religions started verses A RELATIONSHIP with Jesus and God. It is the same as God wanting to be all the jews needed, look to Him and Him alone, but they wanted kings to rule over them. Not prophets needed like Moses or Joshua to guide them, but Him alone. God didn’t want or need a temple to be worshiped in, but David insisted. The church resides in the hearts of people. True believers. The church is the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is composed of all those who love Jesus. We are His followers. We have made a decision to serve God with our talents and God given gifts. So is fellowship important. Your darn right it is. The more true believers you have in your life, the better. It is our Spiritual family where we can be immersed in a community of support and fellowship with those just like you. Guess what. The world thinks NOTHING at all like a Christian does. We need encouragement, and ministry. God bless you on your journey. Maybe you’ll only find one believer near you and meet in their home. Maybe you’ll be blessed in finding a “church” that is pure and filled with the Holy Spirit and a Godly leader. Start with knowing you are the temple of God and secondly seeking out a congregation of other believers.

Did that answer the question of do you have to go to church? The question itself can break off in many directions. Does God love me more if I go to church? Do we have to go to church to be saved? To stay saved? Is church a just a choice or a actual way of life I have to have? If  I go to a church is just showing up enough or do I have to participate in some way? What if I’m shy or introverted. What if I have been hurt by the church, do I still have to go? Do we have to go to church to get to heaven? Is church attendance necessary for the Christian life? What if I just don’t like going to church? How about you let God and the Bible answer you. I’m willing to bet if you have these or other questions your not reading Gods Word enough. Everyday. A lot. If you can sing along and know verses to song after song or can rattle off sports knowledge but can’t rattle off verses from the Bible the same way or know the order of the books or know the fourteen apostles by name, you might have just found out where your heart is. The Bible says where your heart is, is where your treasure will be found. Is your treasure knowing Gods Word like the back of your hand? When it comes to attending a church many base themselves in a works based way of thinking. That God has a clicker and counting every time you sit in a wooden pew or stadium seat during the year. You missed ten weeks due to just being lazy. Uh oh. Your faith is now null and void and your stripped of your salvation. Maybe you did the whole fifty two weeks and expect God to put you on a pedestal for your perfection? What about the guy who has to work on Sundays to support his family? The guy incarcerated in jail? Or a thousand reasons people can’t or don’t attend? What if “church” could be anywhere and anytime instead of the one day a week nonsense. Jesus said where two or more are gathered in my name I am in the midst. So two believers can worship God when and however they want and God is right there. A advantage of that may be if you walk into a building what percentage of people are actually saved? Maybe you get distracted easily and some kids are being disruptive and you want to tell the mother she doesn’t know how to discipline her children and you lose focus. Does worship have to include alters and singing, pastors, flowers, big crosses, liturgy, and what the world exhibits a church to be? Or If I am the temple of God I can join with other Brothers and Sisters in homes, at the park, at the gun range, anywhere and everywhere? Maybe invite my brothers in Christ over on my day off for tacos and a few beers after a bible study and prayer time? There are many ways and places to worship God. And the more we can worship and honor God the better. Jesus gave a answer of worship to the woman at the well. John 4:21-24.  Worship is not about the place where you meet, but the spirit in which you meet.

The Bible does offer principles regarding church structure within the New Testament. This includes its ultimate leader and head of the church and that is Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:22 and Hebrews 13:20…..Next in line are its human leaders. Described are two groups. Elders and deacons. The longer we are saved the more we grow in Christ and mature as Christians. So where it’s fine that just two Christians get together to worship, you would be limited in your growth and of course it would be more advantageous to have a mature Christian in your meeting. The Bible gives qualifications for human leaders. 1 Timothy 3:1-12. Titus 1:5-9. 1 Peter 5:1-4. They are to be as shepherds of Gods people and of course live as a example of Christ for a testimony for us. God has called men for leadership roles for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-16.   Elders should be well studied and able to teach and truly know and hold fast to sound doctrine and be able to communicate the Word. Hebrews 5:14. Hebrews 13:7-17.  1 Thessalonians  5:12-13. Elders should be very mature in the Word and in their walk with the Savior. Elders are the overseers of the church and Deacons are the servants of the church. Keep in mind there was no church buildings when this was wrote. It would be hundreds of years before a building was built and be called a church. The “church” consisted of families that were dedicated to serving the Lord. This church building was originally constructed as a house, and then was renovated to serve as a meeting place for the local assembly of believers. So this makes me think of two things. How awesome the family structures must have been with God and prayer and worship in your own home. Now look at  family structure today. Yikes. Secondly I have to wonder if God didn’t intend congregations to be small in number. Who came up with huge buildings or arenas like today? We’ll I guess I know that answer. The biggest false religion in the world. The reality is that “church” has turned into a corporation and money making machines and the more people the bigger the jet. The Bible teaches that the church, as established by Christ Himself, will last throughout this age and into eternity Mathew 16:18, Ephesians 3:11, Revelation 7:9-17. I’m quite sure that has nothing to do with a building but believers. A member of Gods church includes every person in a local congregation who has professed faith in Jesus Christ. Every member is expected to regularly gather together, to grow and mature in your faith, help and serve others, and share your faith.

How does church attendance affect your relationship with Jesus? To some it may strengthen and build. To others church can be a real turn off. To honest? I suppose that’s because a good church is really hard to find. I’m talking a true Holy Spirit filled and led congregation. That’s why all these ear tickling, positive thinking, God wants you to be rich churches popped up and people flock to them being deceived and deceiving others. Does the Bible say that we must go to church to live the life of faith? Not anywhere I have ever read. Bam! Here comes the legalistic crowd. They will say “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Forsaking where? Assembling how? That verse is from Hebrews. From a jew writing to other jews. I suggest you read the whole tenth chapter of Hebrews and tell me that has anything to do with a church. Here is what I’ll throw back at you from Hebrews:  “Though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again.”  Sorry I got a little feisty in my Spirit just now. Take this too:  “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”  Alright I’m done. I just hate when people pull a verse from their ass and become pharisees. I tend to write exactly as things come to mind and here’s another verse misconstrued:  “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”  There is a zionist Christian movement who are wayyyyy out in left field thinking that verse has to do with modern day Israel and we should be supporting them. Do they not realize they rejected Christ and killed Him? That they make fun of Jesus’ birth from a virgin and say his mother was a whore, fervently contest his claim to be the Messiah and Son of God, and maintain that he was rightfully executed as a blasphemer and idolater. They subvert the Christian idea of Jesus’ resurrection and insist he got the punishment he deserved in hell. The Talmud says that Jesus has been sentenced to boil in feces forever…”excrement from the bowels of humans, cats, dogs, lions, and tigers” because Jesus was a deceiver who led people astray, and that a similar fate awaits his followers. Gentiles are only dogs in their eyes. Sorry, I’m going off track…..  Would it shock you to think that church attendance might not be necessary to live an active and robust life of faith in our Savior? I pray the Bible indoctrinates your mind and not what man thinks. When we make church attendance necessary to live a Christian life, or turn it into something needed for our salvation and keeping our salvation, we are now twisting the community of faith into a superficial body of earning and merit and works based thinking and turned from grace. More than likely you have been a follower of tradition and man made ordinances verses that would mistakenly make you assume that there is something that we must do to earn our place in God’s kingdom.  Scripture, is clear in affirming that there is nothing that we do to earn God’s love or favor and no matter what the best might be it’s still like a filthy woman’s pad in his eyes. Anything outside of grace allows works to creep in and put us in a place we have to do something to earn our way to heaven and Jesus’ blood was not enough. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Nowhere does scripture mandate one’s attendance at church as a condition of salvation or something you have to do to be a Christian or stay a Christian. It’s important to differentiate that two very different things were going on after the death of Christ between a jew believer and a Gentile believer. First off that a saved jew still lived the same way under Mosaic law. They had countless rules and regulations that dictated how Jewish men and women lived faithfully before God. This involved everything from what to eat, when to work, who to associate with, and where to be on certain days. In fact there are over 600 laws that were given to them to observe. Jesus in His own life and ministry was consistent with observing these laws. Much of His teaching was based on Old Testament writings. The problem was there were false leaders who didn’t follow things how they should have and then misled the people. Jesus would call them hypocrites and even the synagogue from Hell. They were very judgmental. On one time of many confrontations with Jesus they would say to His followers (which they were jealous of ) that He was doing what was unlawful on the sabbath. In response Jesus would reply “the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath” For the Gentile believer things are different. We have the Apostle Paul who was designated to us in teaching us we need not observe the laws given to the jews including circumcision. As believers set free in Christ, we are not judged by whether or not we keep the Sabbath day. Instead, we follow the Lord of the Sabbath, Jesus Christ. We find our rest in Him, and seven days a week are filled with worship of Him. What is most important is that our relationship is constant and we interact with God daily and not to be tied down by man made rules or regulations or traditions. So it all comes down to you. We are all wired different. To go to church just to go to church may actually be hindering you if it does nothing for you. I will say though if you find a good church you’ll cherish it like a loved one. Where do you grow most with God? Only you know that answer. Maybe you’ll say I’m out of my mind and a heretic. That’s why you need to know the Bible like the top of your hand. The fact is that Jesus frequented the Temple often. He even left his parents at age twelve to stay there. Did He say good things about it? He was critical of the leaders, the money changers, and the religious rules that got out of control. He knew destruction of the Temple would be coming in 70A.D. He knew He would be denied as the Messiah. Jesus gathered a community around him whether it was at the Temple or walking through the country. He didn’t fly solo like a lot of Christians do. Not saying you can’t be saved and do much for the Lord. But many tuck away their salvation and do nothing accept walk around and say “I’m a Christian” and that’s the extent of their whole Christian life. Jesus lived his faith in the company of others. He attended worship at the Temple. He taught and preached and did many miracles. He had a life both inside and outside the church. That should be the same for us. As we are the temple of God we should be oozing God in this dying world that needs to see a example of Jesus so badly. While scripture does not command Christians to attend “church” it definitely talks of it’s blessings and how it’s gathering or community is much stronger than flying solo. Mature Christians are a great asset for a child in search of growing and being unsure of things. A baby could not be put in a room alone and you say you’ll come back in eighteen years. They need nourishment and protection and to be taught. Same with the newly saved. A few examples are James exhorting anyone who is sick to “call the elders of the church to pray over them,” and to “confess your sins to each other and pray for each other.” The Bible does gives us a structure for a church. The leader and head of the church is Jesus. He bought and paid for it with His life. Ephesians 1:22, Hebrews 13:20. Early Christians did not live their faith in isolation. Their new faith was so important many sold all they had and unified as a community of believers. Meeting together and sharing together allowed the new Christian to quickly mature and grow in faith. The Bible says early Christians were devoted to prayer, fellowship, teaching, and breaking bread Acts 2:42. Today’s world is a little different than two thousand years ago. Sin is rampant. Churches are in full apostate mode. People are nuts. There are a million religions and denominations. So the answer to whether you have to go to church is not easy. Yes you should gather with others in faith but what if  there is nowhere to gather that has not been compromised? The reality is that in these Last Days I believe things are going to get so bad for Christians that meeting places will go back to how things started. In homes. I’m talking Christians who haven’t been deceived by the beast and marked and follow and obey it’s system. Reality is there are many worthless toxic churches in the world and God would want us to remove ourselves from them. Not to accept the false teachings and listen to it’s false leaders. For many out of frustration it’s easy to give up on going to church. But ultimately that’s satans master plan from the beginning. To defeat and destroy the church. For you not to live out your faith in the company of other Christians, but by yourself. And that’s not Gods design. There is strength and power in numbers. Not in the numbers of people that fill a fake church, but the numbers of true believers that worship God in Spirit and Truth. So in wrapping up and hoping I didn’t confuse you, yes you should spend as much time as possible with fellow believers. Immerse yourself in a community that will give you a place to worship, offer support and encouragement, increase your faith and maturity, answer prayer requests, learn Gods Word, and be with fellow Brothers and Sisters who are needed now more than ever before in these Last Days. If you can’t find that community then how about you start one? You’d be surprised what’s inside you and what your capable of doing. God bless you as now is the time for true believers to ALL stand up and do their part.

Praise God that we are found worthy to be given eternal life and have a relationship with the Creator of all things!
