Matthew 8

For centuries, the Pharisees and satans kings have misled the people of Israel on the nature of righteousness and the Kingdom. People don’t know the truth just like anyone today who goes to a church seeking God but is often given garbage. What a shame the Bible is right there and people could pick up, but instead many will seek a religion or another person to explain Gods Word to them. Instead of letting the Holy Spirit teach, they choose corrupt man. They will spend hour after hour of their time watching T.V. or on social sites not even thinking of God. Thinking of sports where ungodly folks that want nothing to do with God but how much money they can make play with a ball. That my friends is blasphemy more than anything I can think of. How dare anyone not know Gods Word themselves and THEN seek to be with other believers. How do you know your not sitting with snakes and the pastor isn’t full of crap? My friends, how much time do you devote to reading the Bible? It is God. How can you have any relationship with God without reading His Word? That is how He speaks to us. Don’t ever call yourself a Christian if your not reading the Bible everyday. Because if your not you have put other things in your life in matter of importance and not God. How much are you praying each day? Do you not realize you are in battle? Do you not realize we are in the Last Days? Wake up people. Wake up.

Chapter 8

Now when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
And lo, there came a Leper and worshipped him, saying, Master, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus putting forth his hand, touched him, saying, I will, be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Obviously this man had faith. God has healed me several times in my life. Any time you see someone healed it’s because they believed it would happen. The leper would have been separated not only from the worship of God in the temple, but also from the daily lives of people, including friends and family even having to announce himself as “unclean” when coming near people. He had to live alone)
Then Jesus said unto him, See thou tell no man, but go, and shew thyself unto the Priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a witness to them. (Leviticus 14:4–8)
When Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a Centurion (Roman army commander), beseeching him,
And said, Master, my servant lieth sick at home of the palsy, and is grievously pained.
And Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him                                                                                                                                                                8 But the Centurion answered, saying, Master, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof, but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
For I am a man also under the authority of another, and have soldiers under me; and I say to one, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
When Jesus heard that, he marveled, and said to them that followed him, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, even in Israel. (A non jew believed in Him and His power to heal.)
But I say unto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. (Gentiles)
And the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into utter darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  (“children of the kingdom” was a Jewish term for the nation of Israel. Jesus is teaching that simply being born into the nation of Israel will not guarantee someone a place in heaven, as was commonly thought among the Jewish people, Galatians 3:7-9. Instead, faith in Him, faith like that of the Roman centurion will be the deciding factor about who is allowed into the kingdom , Galatians 3:28–29. Not having faith in Him results in going to Hell, Matthew 13:42; 22:13; 24:51; 25:30.)
Then Jesus said unto the Centurion, Go thy way, and as thou hast believed, so be it unto thee. And his servant was healed the same hour.(Notice the servant wasn’t even there. We can and should pray for others for healing and salvation.)
And when Jesus came to Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid down, and sick of a fever.
And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; so she arose, and ministered unto them.
When the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils; and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick, (In these Last Days you will see more and more of demon possession. Don’t be deceived that they have to be like portrayed in movies spewing out green gunk and crawling up walls. Many people may look normal but inside them resides pure evil. You’ll know them by their actions)
That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah the Prophet, saying, He took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.(Isaiah 53:4)
And when Jesus saw great multitudes of people about him, he commanded them to go over the water.
Then came there a certain Scribe, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
But Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of man hath not whereon to rest his head.(Jesus was telling him don’t expect worldly grandeur and wealth, by becoming his disciple.)                                                    21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Master, suffer me first to go, and bury my father.
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead. (Stay focused on me. Those dead in their sin can no longer be helped)
And when he was entered into the ship, his disciples followed him.
And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was covered with waves; but he was asleep.
Then his disciples came, and awoke him, saying, Master, save us; we perish.
And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea, and so there was a great calm.
And the men marveled, saying, What man is this, that both the winds and the sea obey him? (The creator of this world that created everything surely can do something simple as that. This was done to build their faith. Jesus probably caused the storm to begin with!)
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, which came out of the graves very fierce, so that no man might go by that way.
And behold, they cried out, saying, Jesus the Son of God, what have we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time? (The devil and his followers know one day the final judgement will come where they are cast into everlasting fire. And we are living in the Last Days before the return of Jesus so expect the world to get worse by the day and Hell on earth)
Now there was afar off from them, a great herd of swine feeding.
And the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go into the herd of swine.
And he said unto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the herd of swine, and behold, the whole herd of swine was carried with violence from a steep down place into the sea, and died in the water. (Mark says the number was 2ooo pigs! Mark 5:13. Imagine the sight of seeing that. In Mark 5:9-10, the demon says his name is legion and he was many. What this man did to be possessed with that amount of demons isn’t stated but certainly if you open your eyes you can see people today possessed.)
Then the herdsmen fled, and when they were come into the city, they told all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the devils.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 34 And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they besought him to depart out of their coasts.
