So reading that how did it make you feel? If your a Christian you understand because no matter how much we try, sin can enter our lives and of course there are consequences for that sin. Don’t ever think salvation is a free ride or a licence to sin and your free to do whatever ever you want. God will whip you. Even kill you for your disobedience if you continue in your sin. If your unsaved your probably thinking what hypocrites and liars. How dare they call themselves Christians and mess up like that. Sorry, we’re just all human just like anyone except we have Jesus to cover our sins. We are not perfect, just forgiven not just by God but by Brothers and sisters in Christ, 1 John 1:9, Psalm 103:10-14, Hebrews 8:12, Romans 5:8, 1 Timothy 1:15-16, Ephesians 4:32, Luke 17:3, Matthew 6:14, Colossians 3:13, Matthew 18:21-22, Psalm 86:5, Mark 11:25, Psalm 32:1, Matthew 6:15, 1 John 1:9, Hebrews 8:12, Proverbs 17:9, Proverbs 10:12, Daniel 9:9, Isaiah 43:25, Hebrews 10:17, Psalm 130:3-4, Ephesians 1:7-8, Colossians 1:13-14. Would it be fair to say there is no forgiveness in the world today? But instead hate, selfishness, and getting even. As Christians we don’t receive our glorified bodies till after we die. Till then, though we are Holy Spirit filled, we still have Adam and Eve’s sinful nature running through our veins. God gives us the power not to sin but the possibility to sin never goes away. The important thing, the most important thing, between both groups, is one have Jesus as their personal and only Savior. The other group is trying to earn their way to God and Heaven through works or religion, which is impossible, because the greatest thing either group could do is garbage before a perfect, Holy God. Who are we to think we are anything standing before a God so Holy and Righteous? So vast and unimaginable in power. So loving and forgiving beyond comprehension, yet wrathful and destructive when vengeance is warranted. That is Eternal and Omnipresent. That is immutable and omniscient. The one, the only God of Gods, Lord of Lords, King of Kings? Have you ever actually thought of us as creations only a God could create? Think of each organ in your body and it’s functions. A heart that is nothing more than a muscle and beats sending blood through our bodies. Think of blood itself! White gooy things give us sight. Senses to taste, smell, feel. Skin that holds everything together. Muscles to grab, lift, punch, walk, etc. Bones. Ligaments. Lungs to breathe. What about being able to eat just about anything and then it’s processed and expelled after taking it’s nutrients. We all look different and are all unique though there is billions of people! Only God could pull that off. What about feelings, emotions. Likes. Dislikes. Different personalities. Damn God your the man! Psalm 139:14. May I forever praise you and honor you and your creations. The perfect artist from the largest mountain to the smallest sea. From the cutest puppy to the ferocious lion. From the smallest snowflake to the largest tornado. All is created by you and all is in your hands…..Though God loves us, He still sees us for what we are. No longer created in His image, but perfection that has been altered from being complete and without defect or blemish to now broken and stained. Because of that we can’t be in Gods presence. We have been divided by sin and no different than God is now water and we are oil. No matter how much you try to mix oil and water, they always separate. Next time you make a salad with oil and vinegar salad dressing you’ll see what sin caused. Separation. That’s where Jesus comes into play. He changes us back to what man once was in Gods eyes. Think of it like Jesus is a very dark pair of sunglasses He puts on God that when He now looks at us we now are looked at totally different. Jesus has blotted out what we look like as sinners and makes us equal to Him. There are no words to describe the love of Jesus dying on the cross, Romans 8:37-39. Of knowing God chose us before the foundation of the world, Ephesians 2:10. That He would send the Holy Spirit to prick our hearts out of sleep and wake us up and unblind us. Christians only know the true love of God because He first loved us. God is not willing that any should perish. He knows His sheep and His sheep know His voice. It’s not US that saves us because we are good or can ever pretend we are loving and nice, because the next minute we can hate and even kill. We are saved by Gods divine, unconditional, inseparable love, 1 John 4:7, 1 John 4:18, Romans 8:35-39, 1 John 3:1, Ephesians 3:18-19. In the beginning of creation we had a perfect relationship with God. satan though would mess that up just like he messes up the lives of people today. In the garden when the Lord called out to Adam, He knew something had happened to their relationship, Genesis 3:9. Sin. God speaks to us. Do you hear Him? Not to be outdone by satan, God has always given opportunity to approach Him. Even though we have been tainted by satan, He still wants us to come home. To be part of the new creation after this earth is destroyed not to long from now. A new Eden where this time satan and his followers are cast in Hell forever and we enjoy paradise forever with the tree of life. The Lord talked to Abram words that would eventually include you and me thousands of years ago, Genesis 12:1-3. We as Christians are Gods chosen people. Not who you think. God spoke to Moses and did great things through him, Exodus 3:4. God wants to speak to you. And He will through the Holy Spirit and His Living Word. God has called many to Him just like He has called me or you, Galatians 2:20. Will you beckon to His call or what will YOU do? Do you know how special you are that God is talking to you now? Billions will die and go to Hell but you, you have been awakened by the Holy Spirit and are called to be His child. What will you do? Will you say here I am Lord or see ya later Lord? God has sought you out and to walk away is very dangerous. We only get so many times in life where God works on us. If you deny Him, He will deny you, Matthew 10:33. Whatever is hindering you, reach out to God and He will reach out to you. Matthew 7:7-8, Jeremiah 1:4-5, 1 Samuel 3, Isaiah 43:7, Isaiah 45:4, Isaiah 48:12, Isaiah 50:2, Isaiah 54:6-8, Isaiah 62:12, Isaiah 65:1, 1 Samuel 3. Jesus calls us to Him. He called His disciples, Matthew 10:1, and they dropped everything and followed Him. When out teaching and preaching, Jesus would call out to those who would listen to Him, Matthew 15:10. Many would hear His Words. Sometimes in the thousands. Some would understand and believe but many would walk away, John 6:66-68. Many are called by God but few are chosen, Matthew 22:14. Trust me, If He can choose this piece of garbage, your way ahead of the game. God offers His free gift of salvation to all men but very few will believe because they like their sin over God. Oh it may look like there’s lot’s of church’s and lots of people saying they are Christians, but the truth is with many there has never been a conversion of the heart and their faith is only lip service. Many people have come up with their own versions of how they will “get right with God” and when they come into judgement day, Jesus will say to take a hike, Matthew 7:21-23, because they tried entering the wrong way, Matthew 7:13-14. Do you know 100% you are saved? 100% your going to Heaven? You should. If your a Christian and unsure, your obviously deep in sin and need to stop backsliding and start frontrising. Get your shit together Brother or sister. If your not a Christian, then let’s get this fixed. Cry out to God why the day remains. God is calling you. Paul was called after he was responsible for jailing and having Christians martyred. He took great joy in it, but God stopped him in his tracks, Acts 9. After His resurrection, Jesus would make it known to Peter salvation was offered to all men, not just jews, Acts 10. This was very important because to the jews it was a impossibility they couldn’t comprehend. This is what is called the beginnings of the age of Grace and the formation of the body of Christ, Acts 15:13-17. The mystery that Paul talks about, Colossians 1:25-27, Ephesians 3:6. Everything has changed. God has not one “chosen people” but now all are called. Not only has the separation between God and humans been removed through Christ, but also the separation between human and human has been removed. Gods chosen are those who believe Jesus to be he Messiah and Savior, 1 Peter 2:9. All those that John speaks of antichrists are just that. They are anti christ. Are not many religions of the world against Christ? Including who Jesus came for and then killed Him. We are told to separate, not support those that hate Christ, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, Romans 16:17, Titus 3:10, 2 John 1:10-11, Ephesians 5:11, 2 Timothy 3:5, 1 John 2:15-17, 2 Thessalonians 3:14. Praise God we are all called and told to carry our cross, Matthew 16:24-26. Truly God has called us and all these verses I’m giving you will either back you up and strengthen your faith or totally make you feel like a outsider looking in, in which case your not saved. Paul gives us great insight of our calling in Romans 8. Is God calling you? 2 Timothy 1:9, 1 Corinthians 1:9, 1 Corinthians 7:17. What are you doing with your life? How’s your mind? How’s your thinking? How’s your life? Is it peaceful? 1 Corinthians 14:33, 2 Timothy 2:7, Philippians 4:8-9. (I have to get off track a second because it just came to mind. I want to thank Blue Letter Bible immensely. I used to write all these verses out. Check their site out. It’s awesome.) Some will think we save ourselves by OUR decisions and OUR works. Or even by a CHURCH they attend decisions and THEIR works. Maybe they got baptized as a baby and think they are saved. Hang on, milk just shot out of my nose. Maybe slick Billy had a alter call and told you to say the sinners prayer and hallelujah brother you just got saved. There is a man that filled stadiums years ago that did a lot of damage. That kinda saving is far from the truth. If it’s true God just wasted months and months of my life writing all these words to lead you to Him! It’s almost as bad as touching a screen and being healed or putting a blessed cloth under your pillow, 2 Timothy 3:7. I digress. Sorry, there just comes a time when you can’t hold things in anymore and boy, I got lots to say. The bible clearly teaches that God seeks us out and we hear His voice and WE respond to HIS call. Hearing is a gift. Sometimes it’s because we seek. Most times because God has sought us. THE LORD HAS TO DRAW US NEAR TO HIM AND GIVE US UNDERSTANDING. Only the Holy Spirit can pierce a blackened heart and awaken the lost. Only God can show you of your lost condition. This causes us to then come to Him in repentance and sorrow, James 4:8, John 6:44. Jesus came for those who know their condition, Mark 2:17. Through faith in our Lord we are saved and after we are saved there are proof positives. The Bible calls them fruits. Fruits are evidence of we are saved through His grace and the mercy He has given us, and not works we do in order to be saved. They are signs of outward change through the inward changes in our hearts, Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 6:22, Matthew 3:8, Matthew 7:16, Matthew 7:20, Philippians 1:11, James 3:17. What do people see when they see YOU? They should be looking at Jesus. What do most if not all of your conversations involve? Do you once mention Jesus? You are the temple (church) of God, 1 Corinthians 3:16. Are people attracted to it and want to see the light inside the doors or do they walk away seeing just another same ol’ same ol’ person like everyone else? How many people have you led to Christ? How often do you shutter thinking everyone you meet in life might be going to Hell and you find out if they are? How do you spend your time? How many hours a day are given to God? What book of the Bible did you read yesterday? How much time did you spend in prayer and meditation today? My dear friend, make sure your relationship with God is NOT based upon you, BUT JESUS IN YOU. That the Holy Spirit is guiding you and not yourself. Not about your own works, but how God has worked through you and the fruits shown are your changed heart and life through Christ. Both groups above will stand at the judgement seat of God one day. Are YOU born again? Has the Holy Spirit convicted you of your position before a perfect Holy God? Your dire need of a Savior due to your sinful condition? Fear and anxiety and desperation would be reasonable feelings of knowing your headed to Hell. Many will fall to their knees and cry out to God to save them. Praise be to God Jesus shed His blood, His redeeming blood on the cross to make you a new creature. When we repent and accept God’s free gift of salvation and begin living as a child of God, we begin walking in His ways instead of the worlds ways. Our lives begin to change as we go from babes in Christ and mature in Him, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. Romans 12:2, Mark 8:36, John 16:33, Titus 2:11-12, 1 John 2:17, James 4:4, 1 Timothy 6:7-8, 1 John 2:16, 1 John 5:4, 1 Corinthians 3:18, John 14:27, Matthew 16:26, John 8:12, 1 Corinthians 1:28-29, 1 John 3:1, 1 John 5:5, James 1:27, Romans 1:20, 2 Peter 1:4, John 3:16, John 17:15. Wo! So get it? We are not the same and definitely not of this world anymore after we are saved. How awesome God is to His children, Psalm 31:19. This list above of saved Christians above shouldn’t exist, but that would mean we become 100% perfect after we are saved. That is every Christians goal, of course, to become perfect as Jesus, but what is reality? Romans 3:9-18. The Bible gives great insight into men and women who indeed are perfect. None of them. That is where repentance comes into play. Sometimes we know better and the Holy Spirit warns us, but we still sin. That is the time to get right back into the race and shake off the dust. Unfortunately some Christians fall way off the ledge. Then all of a sudden guilt and shame turns into going further and further away from God and one drink turns into six. Then ten. Then a case of beer. Stealing a pack of gum turns into cheating your boss by stealing office supplies. Missing fellowship with other believers one week turns into not answering the door and even changing your phone number as the weeks go by because you met a unsaved girl and she is “spiritual” but has caused you to commit fornication. There’s a million scenarios of sin, and though a Christian may fall, God is always there to pickup the pieces and remold us after we repent and say Dad I’m coming home, Luke 5:32, Luke 15:4-7. It is you saying to God, I acknowledge my wrongs. I willingly confess my sins before You. I willingly abandon them and surrender to what I know is right, and willingly will make whatever restitution may be needed, 2 Corinthians 7:8-10, Psalm 51:4, Acts 11:18, 2 Timothy 2:25, Acts 17:30, Matthew 4:16-17, Mark 1:15. For those that have never repented there is no forgiveness given by God, Acts 3:19, Luke 13:3, 2 Chronicles 7:14. Repentance is a definite requirement to get right with God both when we are getting saved and after we are saved. It is actual proof and a fruit that shows we are saved. A unsaved man could care less about his sin. They actually like it. Mark 7:20-23, 1 John 3:4, 1 John 1:8-10, 1 John 3:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 7:16-17, Luke 3:8-14, Romans 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9. Colossians 3:2, Galatians 6:7-8, Philippians 4:8, Romans 12:2. God loves us so much and unconditionally. ( I had to take a little break after I wrote that thinking where I was and where I am now. Thank you Jesus I praise you) Now where was I. To wrap up repentance, We as Christians are really no longer part of this world. It is satans, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and if you don’t believe that your truly blind if you don’t see it turning blacker by the day. You can live by the flesh or by the Spirit and everyday is a new challenge to everyone on earth whether they are saved or not saved. Praise be to God our freedom and delight is in the Lord. We meditate on good rather than evil and we from seeds grow as strong trees supplied by the Living Water Jesus and bear fruit in season and shall never thirst. So if your struggling with any sin repent! 1 John 1:9 , Romans 7:15-17, Romans 7:24. Things can get ugly if you don’t, Revelation 3:19, Hebrews 12:5-7. Each and every one of us will face God after we die. A lot of people are going to quickly forget sins, pride, wealth, power, and every other reason that kept them from believing in Jesus. Oh what a day that will be I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy knowing what is coming their way. For Christians they will be judged to. There will be great loss for knowingly sinning. For knowingly being lukewarm. For knowingly having one foot in the world and one in Gods grace. Our whole lives will be flashed before us and God in mere seconds and I can tell you not one Christian will have their head raised high, but bowing looking to the ground, Romans 14:10-12, 2 Corinthians 5:10. Praise God all of our sins are forgiven, and we will never be condemned for them 1 John 2:2, Romans 8:1, Psalm 103:12. An accounting will be made on all people saved or not saved and answering for the sins we committed, Revelation 22:12. For believers Paul speaks of this, 1 Corinthians 3:15. For unbelievers, Matthew 13:49-50, John 12:48, Roman 2:5:10, Revelation 21:8, Matthew 25:46, 2 Thessalonians 2:9, Matthew 13:50, Matthew 13:42, Matthew 25:41. I don’t know about you, but to me it’s clear as day after we die there is a judgement for both believers and unbelievers. A forever destination that Jesus spoke more of Hell much more than Heaven. Won’t you do a heart check today to see where you stand before God. Make sure you know what you know and that it lines up with scripture. If you fall into the group of your not 100% sure where you stand before God you are playing with dynamite. If you think “I was a good person all my life” and grounds for God accepting you into Heaven your horribly wrong. If you base you were baptized as a baby or in a religion that will back you up even if you do screw up by you going to purgatory for a little while your really screwed because that doesn’t exist. If you think God will let you enter any other door or any other way then through His Son, John 14:6, your in a heap of trouble. To wrap it up, yes that first list is going to Heaven. The second list is going to Hell – Click here.
