KJ

It is my prayer you ask God for truth. Depending on how far your eyes have been opened, this may be shocking. But reality is reality. Am I saying the KJ version of the Bible shouldn’t be used. Maybe. You decide. This comes comes after hearing over and over the KJV is the only version to be used. So as Christians we have to research if that is true. There was a version that preceded that, that for some reason just seemed to vanish. Much like the book of Enoch and God knows how many books that have been suppressed from us. I’m talking of  The Geneva Bible. I read this almost exclusively. Another favorite Bible I use is the 1841 Hexapla Bible as it gives six different versions and you can see the development of the wording through time. Today’s modern day Christians seemed to have locked on to the KJ version. But it was different not long ago, before we became so accustomed to the KJ version. The Pilgrims who migrated to America to escape persecution brought Bibles, but they certainly weren’t King Jimmys version for many a reason. We are born into traditions, many false, and one of them being that the KJ Bible is the only true bible straight from God. God had nothing to do with it’s making. It had satans hands on its creation through a truly evil man. WOOOO… STAY WITH ME!!!!…. Today, many Christians are pressured under false assumptions to strictly use the King James Bible mostly because newer versions are so corrupted which is true. I fell into that trap but like usual I had to do a little digging. There are many modern versions and most of the new Bibles such as the Revised Standard Version are simply updates of the King James. There’s probably more versions out there now than there are fans in a stadium. All looking to copyright Gods Word and make a buck. How times have changed. In our politically correct age, Bible words are changed not because they contain words and expressions that are incorrect, but rather because they offend the sensibilities of those who wish to engage in sinful acts and not repent for their immoral behavior. Though I believe Gods Word is perfect and flawless, man is not, and putting his own ideas and creating his own versions shows just how sinful man is. To make the Bible a book of total acceptance of any sin man wants to indulge in, verses a book that clearly says sin will take you to Hell and to repent and turn from your evil ways. All of today’s modern versions are so corrupted it’s mind blowing…. If you were going to buy a used car, would you buy it from your elderly neighbor who you saw maintained it and really took care of it, or from a used car dealer that might have rolled back the miles and has it’s own body shop and you have no idea of cars history?….. The early Christians would use the Geneva Bible well into the 1800’s. It went out of print in 1644. The first Geneva Bible with both the Old and New Testaments, was first published in English in 1560 in what is now Geneva, Switzerland. The Pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620 used the Geneva Bible exclusively. Even King James I of England used it until his own version would be made. KJ later tried to disclaim any knowledge of the Geneva Bible, though he quoted the Geneva Bible in his own writings. UH OH JIMMY LIED? The Geneva Bible remained the most popular bible for personal use even after the publication of the new official translation commissioned by King James in 1611. In frustration his version wasn’t accepted, James finally outlawed the Geneva Bible in 1616. How dare the people not want to read his “authorized” version. So why did KJ come up with the idea of having his own version? There was a definite influence coming from Rome. Why? Because they didn’t like people being awake and certainly what it’s side notes said about their religion. KJ certainly did not encourage a translation of the Bible in order to enlighten the common people. His sole intent was to deny them the marginal notes of the Geneva Bible and change wording that better suited his tyranny. OBEY HIM. It was the marginal notes of the Geneva version that made it so popular with the common people. To KJ, it was bad enough a understandable English version was made after people were in the dark for hundreds of years by commoners, but now in enlightening people, it may turn them against him and not just Rome. So instead of a Bible by the people and for the people it would be time to get Government involved. And if you haven’t figured it out yet, that’s probably not a good thing. The King James Bible was and is, for all realistic purposes, a government publication. King James I of England was a devout believer in the “divine right of kings,” a philosophy ingrained in him by his mother, Mary Stuart Queen of Scots. It is thought Mary Stuart was having an affair with her Italian secretary, David Rizzio, at the time she conceived James. So James was the product of adultery. A bastard. It seems there was enough evidence of cheating on the part of Mary Stuart and that dude, action would be taken. Nobles, including Mary’s own husband, King Henry, would drag him from Mary’s supper table and execute him. They hacked and slashed at him with knives and swords and then threw him off a balcony to the courtyard below where he would be squashed like a bug on a windshield. History reveals ol’ Mary did have affairs with other men to, such as the Earl of Bothwell. It would seem she was in a unhappy marriage? She later tried to execute her husband in a gunpowder explosion that shook all of Edinburgh. King Henry would survive the explosion. Didn’t matter though as Mary finished the job. Henry would be suffocated later that same night with the murderers never being found. I guess a dysfunctional family, huh? Mary would be eventually beheaded at the request of her cousin, Elizabeth I of England….The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.  KJ would take on his moms way of thinking and belief of the “divine right of kings.” This meant that since a king’s power came from God, the king then had to answer to no one but God. That the right of rule derives directly from God, not from the consent of the people. Any attempt to depose the king or to restrict his powers runs contrary to the will of God and constituted treason. And it didn’t matter how good or evil you were. You could say or do anything you want. If a king was evil it meant it was a punishment sent from God. I agree with that one America. And it meant the citizens should then suffer in silence and just take it. If a king was good, that was a blessing sent from God and the people should rejoice. While the King James Version is a great translation, it was created, edited and authorized by the Government and the writers were given restrictions and instructions. And that is why the Geneva Bible pissed off KJ. He had no control in it’s making by Holy Spirit filled men. The Geneva Bible had marginal notes that simply didn’t conform to HIS point of view. Or Romes. Government and religion is all about control. A small amount of people controlling a huge amount of people and keeping them in sheep mode and blind because if they ever figure out what the government was really up to the tyranny would be stopped. An example would be if a Government tried to force you to take a jab. In reading the Geneva Bible a couple examples of a what KJ read was notes such as, “When tyrants cannot prevail by craft they burst forth into open rage” and that didn’t fit into KJ’s agenda. CONTROL. OBEY. These notes were included to explain and interpret the Scriptures for the common people and laid the foundation for a Republican form of government. Freedom from oppression. The 1560 Geneva Bible translated Revelation 11:7 as, “And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh out of the bottomless pit, shall make wars against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.”  The study note attached to this verse stated the following: “That is, the Pope which hathe his power out of hell and cometh thence”. That sure wasn’t good for the R.C.C. was it?….For half a century these notes helped the people of England, Scotland, and Ireland understand the Bible and true God ordained liberty before KJ decided he needed to authorize his own version and put people under his thumb. The Geneva bible had many political references in its footnotes which implied that a bad king could be eliminated and there was no need for bishops. The marginal notes were very anti-catholic and this was considered treasonous. How dare anyone speak against the rulers! Understandably, the power structure hated that translation. Tyndale, a leader in the Protestant movement would be burned at the stake as a heretic for his writings. “Religion” in KJ’s time was controlled by the government and not just by Rome. It was slim pickings when it came to God. The first was your only choice of Roman Catholicism or from the time of Henry VIII on, an Englishman had the Church of England, or Anglican Church where the concepts of church and state are linked. It upheld many of the customs of Roman Catholicism. If you didn’t agree with those two choices you would learn to like or lump it and live in silence. The third choice you could make was to stand up against tyranny as in the Protestant Reformation in which case the the church or government would just kill you like during the Inquisition. If you were lucky you were just tortured on a rack. Most would be burned at the stake. Beheaded. Others would be hung, drawn and quartered. You know what that is? If you dared speak against the church or government, you as the convicted would first be dragged by horse on a wooden frame to the place of execution. A ruckus crowd would gather to take in the display like going to a ball game and throw stuff at you. You then would then be hanged by the neck for a short time or until almost dead, not like you see in old westerns, but a short drop method of hanging so that the neck would not break and you would slowly suffocate. You were then dragged alive to the quartering table where all the goodies would start. To freshen you back up, water was thrown on you so you were fully conscious of what was going on. Next a hooded man would come and cut your genitals off. Then he would cut your stomach wide open and pull out your intestines while I’m sure your screaming. Then your genitalia and entrails were burned before your eyes. To finish you off they would then behead you. Whats left off your body would be quartered. Quartering was accomplished by tying the body’s limbs to four horses, each horse being spurred away in a different direction until your ripped in four. To be shown as example your body parts would be hung out for public display in different parts of the city, town, or country. It was common practice for your head to be sent to the tower of London as a prize. People have no idea how great they had it in America till 2021. Oh how they’ll mourn when they see what is coming. Can you not see the Bill of Rights and Constitution dissolving before your eyes? The past always repeats itself. Anyway, those who fell into the hands of the government for holding religious opinions of their own were outright punished as KJ or any other king or queen saw fit. Henry VIII, the man with six wives and supposedly went against the grain of Rome would start a different era. Henry would appoint himself head of all the English churches instead of papal authority. Though the churches were under state control and had some protestant insurgence, he kept the Roman Catholic system of bishops, deacons and the like for a very good reason. It would allow him to have control of both state and religion through a bureaucracy that gave him full control of the people. OBEY. A system that allowed him to be boss of everything and direct those under him. After his death this same system passed on to his heirs. But then along comes Bloody Mary who ascended to the throne. Mary wanted everyone to switch back to Roman Catholicism exclusively. If you objected the outcome was fast. Those who wanted to remain Protestant she merely burned at the stake. With plenty of firewood she was off and running and started her campaign. She only managed to kill about three hundred because people wised up and escaped by leaving the country. A large part of those escaping persecution settled in Geneva. Others also persecuted for their faith would come from Western Europe and settle in Geneva. During this time period, several key English Protestant leaders fled to Geneva, Switzerland, to avoid the persecution in England. Among them were Miles Coverdale, John Foxe, Thomas Sampson, and William Whittingham. With the support of John Calvin and the Scottish Reformer John Knox, these English Reformers decided to publish an English Bible that was not dependent upon the approval of English royalty. Building upon earlier English translations such as those done by William Tyndale and Myles Coverdale, the Geneva Bible was the first English translation in which all of the Old Testament was translated directly from Hebrew manuscripts. Much of the translation work was done by William Whittingham, the brother-in-law of John Calvin. French theologian Jean Chauvin, better known as John Calvin, also settled there and later Theodore Beza, who would provide the primary spiritual and theological leadership. Thank you Lord for these men of God….Mary eventually dies and is succeeded in the throne by her Protestant cousin, Elizabeth. With that, the Anglican bureaucracy had returned, but short a few notable men such as Archbishop Cranmer and Hugh Latimer, as they both had been burned at the stake by Bloody Mary. In Scotland, John Knox was leading the Reformation. The Reformation prospered in Geneva. Many of those who had fled Bloody Mary would stay and they started a congregation there. Gods Word would be translated and written in English and be known as the first Geneva Bible. It was the first Bible to use chapters and numbered verses and became the most popular version of its time because of the extensive study notes. It had so many that they eventually ran out of room to write more in later versions.( I have 1560 and 1599 version) John Calvin would start a academy in Geneva in 1559 that later became the University of Geneva. During this time period, religious wars were being fought throughout Europe. The Spanish fought to restore Roman Catholicism to Western Europe. The Dutch fought for the Reformation and religious freedom. England managed to stay out of most what was going on because of the natural advantage of the English Channel. Eventually, the Dutch would declare religious freedom for everybody. Amsterdam would become an open city. English Puritans arrived by the boatload to escape tyranny. The 1599 Edition of the Geneva Bible was printed in Amsterdam and London in large quantities until well into the 17th century…. Getting back to Jimmy, sorry I wandered….King James, before he became James I of England, made it plain that he had no use for the “Dutch rebels” who had rebelled against their Spanish King probably thinking he was next. Elizabeth would die in 1603 and her cousin, James Stuart, son of Mary Stuart, who up until that time had been King James VI of Scotland, would now ascended the throne and became known as King James I of England. James would ascend to the throne of England with the “divine right of kings” firmly embedded in his mind. Unfortunately, that wasn’t his only lack of good judgement. King James I, among his many other faults, preferred young boys to adult women. A pedophile. He was known to be a flaming homosexual. Many called him Queen James. His activities in that regard have been recorded in numerous books and public records. It can’t be dismissed and there is no room for debate on the subject. The King was queer as the day is long. We know a man having sex with another man is a abomination to God. Yet the very people who use the King James Bible today are maybe okay with that now? Years ago, true believers would be the first ones to throw someone out of their congregations with such deviant behavior as the Bible commands. Maybe you never did any research? Now you know your reading a government book created for nefarious reasons by a bastard child, a liar and homosexual and someone who wanted full control of how you worship God. Does that sit right with you? So we know Kj liked to write to. You seem to love his version of the Bible. Have you ever read his book Daemonologie? (demonology) In 1597, King James VI of Scotland published a compendium on witchcraft lore called Daemonologie. It was also published in England in 1603 when James acceded to the English throne. The book asserts James’s full belief in magic and witchcraft, and aims to both prove the existence of such forces and to lay down what sort of trial and punishment these practices merit. In James’s view, death. Daemonologie takes the form of a dialogue (popular for didactic works) and is divided into three sections: the first on magic and necromancy (the prediction of the future by communicating with the dead), the second on witchcraft and sorcery and the third on spirits and spectres. In doing so, he became the ONLY monarch in history to publish a book about witches and how to find them. Hmmmm. You’d think he would write maybe something about Jesus and salvation instead of love letters and poems to his gay lovers. The moral corruption of King James I didn’t end with sodomy. KJ also enjoyed killing animals for sport and not food. Cock-fighting and bear baiting were a favorite. Supposedly he loved riding horses and hunting and while at the hunt, KJ did not dismount to relieve himself, but defecated in the saddle, so that by the end of the day he was in a “filthy state.” Once he killed an animal, he would literally roll around in its blood and smear his companions with it’s blood. Some believe that he practiced bestiality while the animal lay dying. Even through all this, it’s said his custom was to have only one bath a year. Is anyone thinking you will know a tree by it’s fruit? Besides this KJ was a sadist as well as a sodomite: he enjoyed torturing people. While King of Scotland in 1591, he personally supervised the torture of those caught up in the witchcraft trials of Scotland. James loving inflicting pain, would even suggest new tortures to the examiners. There was one time a “witch,” Barbara Napier, was acquitted. Bloodthirsty Kj didn’t like those results. He would write personally to the court on May 10, 1551, ordering a sentence of death and not acquittal. The jury were placed into custody and were now in the same shoes as the “witch.” To make sure they understood he meant business, the King himself presided at a new hearing. The verdict would be reversed and he would allow the jury to be not punished and was gracious enough to release them for putting her to death. That same system reigns in courts today. History has it that James was also a great coward and sissy. His speech was quite unintelligible with a Scottish accent. His protruding tongue seemed too large for his mouth, and gave the impression that he ate liquids rather than drinking them, slobbering his drink down his chin and onto his clothing. Like his father and younger son, James had notably spindly legs. On January 7, 1591, the king was in Edinburgh and emerged from a toll booth. A argument of sorts followed that included the Duke of Lennox and Lord Hume. They fell into an argument with the laird of Logie and they pulled their swords. James became like King David of old and grabbed a sword and stood in front like a lion. Um. Nope. James scared, fled like a little girl, his arms shaking upwards and putting out sounds like a little girl screaming when running from a Halloween haunted house. It is said he would “foul his breeches in fear.” I suggest you do your own study on KJ and most important why his version of the Bible even exists. Then through that draw up your own conclusions. There is a very good chance you never even heard of the Geneva Bible. All I can say is you have no idea what you are missing. Like many things and ways we have been blinded by satan and unless we take the time to ask God and do our own research, we are merely rats running through a maze in satans kingdom. he truly is a liar and deceiver but praise be to God we are given new eyes to see through our Lord and Savior. KJ was the kind of person honorable men loathed for his brutality and tyranny. Christians would not associate with someone like him. The Bible itself orders him to be put to death (Leviticus 20:13). Knowing who and what King James was, we can easily discern his motives and that it is very doubtful he was a Born-again Christian or even a fake Christian at best. Yes he has a Bible named after him. Hollywood has a walk of fame. In Christ’s return it will be a walk of shame and He will say king who? The KJ Bible certainly wasn’t for Gods glory, but his own selfish motivation and behind the scenes making a deal with Rome to rid the world of the best Bible version ever written by Godly men who wanted to put the Word of God into every mans hands and not controlled by a religion or government. Perhaps it’s side notes describe exactly whats happening today and why the beast had it dissolved from history. Lastly, is the KJ Bible okay to read? That’s for you to decide. In reality, The KJ version is similar to the Geneva Bible in translation minus the notes KJ and Rome so desperately wanted to get rid of. There are differences though. In their New Testament translation, the King James “translators” didn’t even revise and compare. What they did was simply copy almost word for word William Tyndales’ 1525 New Testament. What is interesting is that even years before, Tyndales’ New Testament had been labeled as “seditious material” by Henry VIII and copies discovered on ships reaching English ports were confiscated and destroyed. William Warham, archbishop of Canterbury, even went so far as to buy all the copies he could get in Europe in order to destroy them. Crazy isn’t it? Oh how satan wants to control the word of God. If you can’t destroy it, DISTORT IT! The Old Testament from the 1560 and 1599 Geneva Bible was translated DIRECTLY from the Greek Old Testament and the Hebrew Septuagint scriptures, while the 1611 King James Version of the Bible was compiled from previous English translations of the Old Testament. In God I am seeking the best and I don’t know how to explain other than when I read the Geneva, I feel a different spirit speaking. I almost feel like there is a curse or occultist force put on the KJ. It’s like going shopping for a new home. Do you immediately buy the first house you see because agent says to, or do you keep looking till you find the house that feels right and you feel at home. I can go to two different ice cream stores. Both say they are natural ingredients. One uses free range cow milk and high in cream and no additives and tastes awesome. The next is made from soy and corn syrup and a concoction of ingredients that make it taste almost exactly the same but there’s no milk in it. They taste the same but one is lying and will hurt me. Here are a few differences. After Geneva, 1841 Hexapla is my absolute favorite because you have six different versions at once. The Wycliffe version of 1380 (the first English scripture), The Tyndale version of 1534-1536 (the first English printed scripture), and Cranmer’s Great Bible of 1539 (the first Authorized English Bible). The Geneva “1557” – translation actually completed in 1560, (the Bible of the Protestant Reformation), The Rheims 1582 (the first Roman Catholic English version), and the 1611 King James First Edition.
